Who We Are
Our mission is to make disciples of all nations, from Georgetown to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:19-20).
Practically, this works itself out as we love God above all and love others as ourselves, as Jesus said for us to do in Matthew 22:37-40.
Discipleship for any person begins with hearing the message of Christ, but it doesn't stop there. The cross of Jesus is the means of our salvation, but it is also to impact every step we take. Because we are no longer our own, we walk in obedience to our Master, Jesus, and we call others to do the same, thereby obeying the second part of the great commission: teaching disciples to obey all that Jesus commanded them to do.
We work that out in community through loving one another. We pray for one another, encourage one another, warn each other regarding sin, and we worship together regularly as a church family pointing to the One who brings us all together: Jesus.
